Standing up and stepping away from your computer every 20 minutes or so will help put you on the road to longevity (CLICK HERE for the science behind this claim), but if you want to gain and maintain a decent level of fitness you’ll need to do more than that.
Depending on what weights you choose and which starting body position you assume, these three workouts can range from uncomfortable-but-doable to hard. If you do any or all of them multiple times a week, you will notice an immediate boost in your mental acuity and then an improvement in muscle definition later on. None of them is likely to get you P90X ripped, but then you haven’t spent an hour a day killing yourself either. —Annabel Lee
